Activities

During the years, we have experienced a lot of fun activities together with our guests, where the atmosphere is invariably cosy and relaxed. As it is a holiday, you are of course free to decide whether you want to join in, nothing is compulsory. Every week, you will find a new activity list on the square in the canteen with all the details, so you can read through at your leisure.

Frenching hour

The chip shop is now a beloved tradition among our campsite guests. Every Friday from 17:30, the “Snackhuusken” opens its doors. The menu offers a varied selection: from classic snacks to tasty Plates schnitzels, chicken satay and hamburger sandwiches.

When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a seat on the terrace; when the weather is not so good, we welcome you in the canteen. Our service will come by to take your drink, so you can relax and enjoy.

The Warm Baker

During the high season, you can enjoy delicious, fresh bread rolls from Wednesday to Saturday. Thanks to our fine cooperation with the local bakery.

Between 08:45 and 09:00, sandwiches are available on the terrace or in the canteen.

A tasty start to the day, just at the campsite!

Jan Pleasure

Evert, together with his father, transformed a traditional farm flat wagon into an atmospheric covered wagon called the “Jan Plezier”.

With the beautiful Friesian horses, which normally graze quietly in the meadow, Evert drives around full of enthusiasm and that pleasure radiates to people and animals. A beautiful route has been mapped out towards Vorden, where you can enjoy the scenery and a cosy drink along the way. The Jan Plezier rides for groups of 10 to 16 people and the ride takes about an hour and a half. Feel free to inquire about the possibilities.

Jeu de Boules court

In the middle of the first field is the boules court. There are two courts that everyone is free to use. Especially in the evening, people regularly throw a ball around. Come and have a look or join in!

Don’t have your own boules? No problem, we have free balls to borrow. Feel free to ask for them!
